We were here again after a year and a half and unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was good and friendly; however, the cook must have changed. The game soup tasted like Soljanka, the wild boar goulash was spiced extremely carelessly. Unfortunately, it was the same with our other guests. Too bad.

A worthwhile destination. It will be a sporty day with the bike. In the inn, a refreshment and a beautiful view of the lake.

Wait 1 hour for drinks, another 1 hour for food, although the table was reserved. The food arrived chilled but tasted good. Unfortunately there was no excuse from the friendly waitresses who asked us several times when we would order, even though that had already happened (that's really annoying when you're thirsty and hungry).

Birthday was celebrated. It was beautiful there, highly recommended. Good food, great service ... Everything was great.

You are only allowed to enter the restaurant with clothes and shoes, which we did. After we had waited 15 minutes for the service, several children were served in swimwear and without shoes. When my little son wanted to take something with him, it suddenly stopped working because it was an exception with the others. If I want to order an ice cream, I should sit down again. This inconsistency is a cheek, very disappointing and not hospitable.

Super nice guest house. Food was tasty. I had hash browns with salad. The team is very friendly and accommodating. The location right on the lake. The previous review was sent incorrectly. I'll come back to you next time with my girlfriend. Keep it up.

Great view with a view of the Gorinsee. Friendly waiters and the food is great too. The homemade lemonade was delicious too. Parking right in front of the door. It was a pleasure.

A nice change to sit by the lake in the forest, albeit light. The inn has a simple outdoor area, in keeping with the surroundings, although it is one of the expensive restaurants in terms of price. So if you can afford it, you get a good selection of food and drink. Mostly game dishes. Less suitable for vegetarians and vegans, which is a shame. The waiter is super nice and attentive, which is a rarity. And if you have time, you should visit the Barnimer Heide.

Stopped here for a drink on a bike tour. Since the tables were all occupied, there was only drinks from the stand: warm cola in 0.2 plastic cups for a whopping 3 euros per cup. If this inn hadn't been the only one in this area, we would have left immediately.

Food tastes very good, there is not much choice. Staff, contrary to the statements here, unfortunately arrogant and obviously doesn't want any guests. Hygiene surcharge, but no measures. Opening times are a joke - at this time of year it's over at 8 p.m. Prices very high. Portions tiny. The homemade lemonade tastes good. Unfortunately, the potential is not used here. We liked it better on previous visits.

An inn with access to the lido. So it has a very rustic charm. I can't say anything about the meal, since I only drank something. The service is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the parking lot is full in summer because the lido guests also park there.

Nice and cosy German restaurant next to Gorinsee. They have a good interiors. Worth a visit if you are in this area

We loved it. Ask the waiter and we got our seats. We (3 adults and 1 dog) were lucky and got places in the shade. Very pleasant. The service was quick and very polite. The menu was adequate, regional and also according to the season. The food was very good and the portions generous. It was a great experience and we will stop by again.

Very cosy, warm, traditional and tasty place! The restaurant located on the forest lake bank. Very romantic place even during rainy winter evening. Very friendly stable team still serve visitors during long year. Very tasty traditional German cuisine including game meat! I am highly recommend!

Very good restaurant direct in the lake, enjoy the summer time there.

This German restaurant is one of the few in the Northern part outside of Berlin that specialize on wild boar, deer, duck, goose, and fish dishes. LOCATION: 4 stars The restaurant is located right next to lake Gorinsee. Nice views (see pictures) included. You can also walk around the lake and through the forest which will take you about 30-40 minutes. In the summer there are several small beaches, mostly crowded though. FOOD: 3 stars We went for the Christmas menu and ordered Wildscheinfilet mit Klößen (wild boar with dumplings), Gänsekäule (leg of goose), and Zanderfilet (pike-perch filet with potatoes). All dishes came with traditional red and green cabbage on the side. The meat was super soft and tasty, so were the potatoes and the dill sauce for the fish. 18.90 for the main dish was a bit pricey though. As a starter we got the Pilzsuppe (mushroom soup), which to my surprise was watery and had bacon in it, hence a strong taste of pork, which I disliked. Dessert was okay - vanilla ice with hot cranberries, a nice and refreshing combination. AMBIENTE: 2 stars As it was pointed out in the German reviews, if you're seated in the Wintergarten it doesn't really feel like a restaurant, more like you're sitting in a train station. It looks like most seats are not in the actual restaurant but in the attached Wintergarten, so chances are high you end up there. Sit inside if you can. If you plan on driving up North out of Berlin for some meat dishes you might also want to try the restaurant Waldschänke am Rahmersee - similar concept but better atmosphere.
